Project Description

Connecting South Central Vietnam with the Central Highlands, Expanding Development Space

The Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway is considered a strategic “gateway” project, opening up new development opportunities between the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands. This is not only a vital transportation route that shortens travel time, but also a driving force linking two economically dynamic regions.

In 2022–2023, Thong Nhat Infrastructure Consulting JSC undertook the task of reviewing the technical design and cost estimates for phases 1 and 2 of the project. The work included analyzing roadbed and pavement solutions, structural works, tunnels, as well as detailed evaluations of complex local topography and geological conditions.

With extensive experience in large-scale transportation projects, Thong Nhat provided recommendations for technical solutions that are both safe and cost-effective. In particular, climate-adaptive and terrain-specific engineering solutions were carefully considered to suit the unique conditions of the Central Highlands.

Upon completion, the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway will not only meet growing travel demand, but also unlock opportunities for investment, tourism, and trade. This project is a clear testament to Thong Nhat’s capability and commitment in accompanying national infrastructure projects of strategic importance.
